Lacock lies in the county of Wiltshire, just two hours from London and 20
minutes from the glorious city of Bath. Junction 17 of the M4 is only seven
miles away and Chippenham, Melksham and Corsham are all within a few miles
drive.
Lacock is famous for its unspoilt village streets, its magnificent Abbey
with picturesque woodland gardens
and ancient cloisters and for the Fox Talbot Photographic Museum. It is also
a popular film and television location.
Today the village remains a thriving local community with a Post Office
shops and numerous public houses.
